Hall of Fame
Lynn served as the president of Sangamon State from 1991-1995 when she became the chancellor of the University of Illinois. Lynn and her husband Bob were the athletic program's number one fans and they worked closely with the Friends of the Prairie Stars to raise funds for athletics.
She was an integral part of strengthening campus athletics so that UIS would qualify for membership in the NCAA.
Naomi and Bob served on numerous boards in the Springfield community including the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the Urban League, the City of Springfield Community Relations Commission, the United Way and the Rotary Club.
