Kiwanis Stadium

Kiwanis Stadium, the home of the Prairie Stars soccer team, has a history rich in tradition and experience. Originally constructed in 1977, the money for the sod for the field was raised and donated by the Springfield Kiwanis Club.

Kiwanis Stadium has been the host site of three NAIA National Tournaments (1978 - 1980) and has hosted the UMBRO Senior Bowl twice. The facility seats over 1,500 fans and is lighted for the numerous night games held on campus.

UIS Baseball Field

The UIS Baseball Field is the home venue for the UIS Prairie Stars baseball team. The field turf was installed in Summer 2017, giving UIS one of the premier playing surfaces in the GLVC.

The facility features bleacher seating and space for lawn chairs along each fence. This site has hosted multiple NCAA postseason events.

The UIS Softball Complex features six main fields. The Prairie Stars call Field 4 their home. The infield features crushed limestone, allowing for higher water intake and limiting rain delays. The facility also features renovated dugouts and full bullpens for each team.

This facility was the site of 2018 NCAA postseason events.

Cross Country meet

The UIS Cross Country Course is located on the northeast portion of the UIS campus.

The course features a grass trail that begins at the pine trees located along University Drive. The course is spectator-friendly and easy to follow with its mowed grass trail.

This course has been the site of an annual home event at the start of each season since the program's creation in 2015. It also hosted the 2023 GLVC Cross Country Championship.
