The Prairie Stars Athletic Hall of Fame is held in reserve as the University of Illinois Springfield’s highest athletic recognition.  It seeks to honor alumni, coaches, teams, athletic administrators, and friends of the University who have demonstrated exceptional athletic and personal achievement and distinctive contributions to the advancement of University of Illinois Springfield (formerly known as Sangamon State University) athletics.
