Sierra Cenek Earns GLVC Offensive Player of the Week Honors After Historical Performance

Sierra Cenek of the UIS women's soccer team earned the program's first GLVC Offensive Player of the Week Award, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

The senior forward scored five goals over the weekend, three on Friday versus William Jewell and two on Sunday at Rockhurst. Cenek also managed an assist between goals on Friday as she became the fifth Prairie Star women's soccer athlete to record a hat trick.

Cenek is atop the Great Lakes Valley Conference with seven goals on the season and is second in points with 16. UIS picked up both wins on the weekend, moving into third in the GLVC team standings.
