The Prairie Stars will travel to Ashland, Ohio this weekend for a best-of-three series against Ashland in the NCAA Division II Midwest Super Regional.
The Prairie Stars advanced after going 3-0 at last week's regional tournament. UIS defeated Drury twice, including an 11-5 win in the title game, and Wayne State once.
Ashland lost its opening game at regionals, but won four straight to capture its regional title. The Eagles defeated Tiffin twice on Saturday by scores of 7-6 and 15-5 to win the tournament.
