The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team faces a key matchup on Saturday when it faces Drury at 3 p.m. at TRAC.

UIS is currently 4-2 in GLVC play, one game ahead of Drury. Both teams have been very competitive in conference action, with all five of their combined losses coming by five points or less.

The Prairie Stars enter the game on a two-game winning streak, including an 80-58 victory over Missouri S&T on Thursday. Drury has also won two straight after a 72-60 victory against McKendree last time out.

Drury has a 12-1 all-time series lead against UIS. It has won nine straight in the series. The Prairie Stars' one victory came in 2012 in Springfield, Ill.
