The Illinois Springfield women's soccer team begins a two-game road swing Wednesday, traveling to Quincy for a 5 p.m. GLVC matchup at Legends Stadium.

Illinois Springfield enters the contest 3-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in GLVC play after playing three straight tight matches. The Prairie Stars fell 1-0 in consecutive games against Drury and Truman State before earning a 1-1 draw at Missouri S&T, with senior Rachel Riney scoring UIS' lone goal.

UIS has continued to generate opportunities offensively, ranking ahead of 11 GLVC teams in shots on target.

In goal, senior Gigi Yurevich has maintained a 1.00 goals-against average. She has recorded three saves in each of the Prairie Stars' last two matches.

Quincy enters Wednesday's game at 3-1-4 overall and 3-0-2 in conference play. The Hawks are averaging 1.875 goals per game, which ranks fourth in the GLVC. Rebecca Rheinheimer leads the Quincy attack with six goals this season.

Quincy goalkeeper Devin Tracy, who has started every game, was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week after recording two shutouts and making eight saves across wins over Lewis and Rockhurst.
