The Illinois Springfield women's soccer team heads to St. Louis on Saturday, Sept. 26, for a GLVC matchup against Missouri-St. Louis.

The Prairie Stars enter the contest at 4-3-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play after earning a 1-0 road victory at Quincy on Wednesday. The win moved UIS into ninth place in the GLVC standings, matching its preseason position in the conference poll.

Addi Wittenberg scored the game-winning goal against Quincy and now has two goals on the season.

UMSL enters Saturday's matchup in third place in the GLVC at 4-0-1, with a 5-1-2 overall record. The Tritons are unbeaten in their last seven matches and most recently picked up wins over Indianapolis, 5-1, and Lewis, 2-1.

Maddy Kuhn leads the UMSL offense with three goals and one assist, while Ella Anselm has two goals and one assist. Josie Maddox has one goal and three assists.

In goal, Allysa Wolf has started all seven of UMSL's matches in which she has appeared. Wolf's .590 goals-against average ranks first in the conference, while her .857 save percentage ranks second.
