The UIS women's soccer team had two student-athletes earn All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Third Team honors for the 2026 season, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. Junior forward
Mallory Herber and sophomore defender
Riley Lloyd each earned their first career All-GLVC selections.
Herber led the Prairie Stars with six goals scored this season, adding one assist for a team-high 13 points. She appeared in all 17 games, making 14 starts, and ranked among the league's top shot producers throughout the season.
With her six goals this year, Herber now has 14 career goals, moving into sixth place on the UIS women's soccer all-time goals list. Her Third Team selection marks the first All-Conference honor of her career.
Lloyd also earned Third Team recognition after a productive sophomore season. She ranked sixth in the GLVC with six assists across 17 games, starting every contest. The sophomore also scored a goal against UIndy during the Prairie Stars' Homecoming game in October.
On the defensive side, Lloyd helped anchor a UIS back line that allowed fewer than one goal per game and recorded four shutouts during the season.
In addition to the All-Conference selections,
Makenna Yeager was named a GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree. She is one of 15 women's soccer student-athletes across the conference selected for the honor. UIS honorees in each sport will be considered at the conclusion of the academic year, when the university selects its two school-level James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners.
