The Illinois Springfield men's golf team travels to Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Indiana this week for the 47th annual GLVC Men's Golf Championship, marking the first time the event has been held at the course.

The championship begins with 54 holes of stroke play, where individual medalists will be awarded. The top four teams will then advance to medal/match play to determine the team champion. Competition opens with 36 holes on Wednesday, April 22, followed by 18 holes on Thursday, April 23, before the semifinals and finals of match play take place on Friday, April 24.

UIS will utilize a six-player lineup of Julien Babineau, Sacha Lamraski, Jake Baldin, Daniel Edwards, Vilgot Arleback, and Sahachat Noosong, competing in a play-six, score-four format during stroke play.

The GLVC Men's Golf Championship will once again be streamed live on the GLVC Sports Network.

The Prairie Stars enter the week with momentum against conference opponents, having earned wins over Quincy, Rockhurst, and Lewis during the season.
