The UIS baseball team played through most of its series against Indianapolis this weekend, but Sunday's scheduled nine-inning finale was canceled due to inclement weather. Per Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) policy, the game will not be rescheduled.

The series began strong for UIS with a 6-3 victory in the nine-inning opener. However, Indianapolis bounced back to win both games of Saturday's doubleheader, taking the first 10-6 and the second 3-0.

With the series now concluded, UIS looks ahead to its next challenge: a road trip to Missouri-St. Louis for another GLVC series next weekend.
