UIS men's basketball welcomes GLVC opponent William Jewell to the TRAC on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. The matchup is the first of three home GLVC doubleheaders this week, with the game theme set as White Out.
Illinois Springfield (4-2, 1-0 GLVC)
The Prairie Stars won their GLVC opener on the road Saturday at UMSL, 86-76, marking their first victory over the Tritons since 2022 and their first road win against them since 2018.

Isaiah Davis each scored 19 points, with Davis connecting on five 3-pointers and Stell dominating inside on both scoring and rebounding. UIS shot 55.5% from the field and 60% from 3-point range in the game. Overall, the Prairie Stars rank third in field goal percentage and lead the GLVC in 3-point shooting this season.
UIS is fourth in the conference in rebounding, led by Stell (8.3 per game) and
Tye Banks (5.7).
Jordan Rice ranks second in the GLVC in scoring at 21 points per game, while Davis averages 16.5 points and has made 28 3-pointers through six games. The Prairie Stars have demonstrated scoring versatility as they aim to return to the GLVC Tournament under seventh-year head coach

William Jewell (2-3, 0-0 GLVC)
Monday's game marks the Cardinals' first conference matchup of the season. William Jewell most recently lost 82-56 to Missouri Western State at home and enters the game averaging 64.2 points while allowing 74.6. Their two wins this season came early against Purdue Northwest and Emporia State.
The Cardinals rank seventh in the GLVC in 3-pointers made but are outside the top 10 in most other scoring categories. Players to watch include Justice Sutton, who averages 17.7 points per game and is shooting 56.3% from the field, supported by upperclassmen Kyle Scharborough and Isaac Patterson.
