Box Score Illinois Springfield men's basketball defeated Judson 92-69 on Tuesday night at TRAC, leading by as many as 32 points and knocking down 16 three-pointers while forcing 21 turnovers.
"Our team was excited to play in front of our home fans," head coach Matt Brock said. "I thought our defensive pressure picked up when the second unit came in. I am pleased with the defensive effort today—there's still room for growth."
Judson opened the scoring with a layup from EJ Reese, but UIS quickly settled in. Tye Banks pulled the Stars even at 2-2, and Lyncoln Koester buried a three at the 13:07 mark to tie the game again at 11-11. From there, UIS took control behind long-range shooting and defensive pressure.

Davis wasted no time extending the lead in the second half, drilling a three-pointer just 17 seconds in off a pass from Jordan Rice. UIS continued to generate momentum, creating transition chances and maintaining a double-digit cushion throughout the half. Banks added timely baskets, and the Stars' depth helped wear down the Eagles as the lead grew to 30+.
