The University of Illinois Springfield softball team will meet Drury and Southwest Baptist on the road this week as it closes out the regular season.

First, in a doubleheader on Saturday in Springfield, Mo., the Prairie Stars will meet the Drury Panthers at noon and 2:00 p.m. The teams last met in the GLVC Quarterfinal round in the 2022 season when the Panthers defeated the Prairie Stars 7-0. Saturday's matchup will be a tiebreaker as the all-time series is currently 14-14.

The Panthers are 22-24 and 10-10 in GLVC play coming off of a split with McKendree. 

UIS will take on the Southwest Baptist Bearcats at noon and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday in Bolivar, Mo. UIS leads SBU 14-0 all-time.

The Bearcats are 11-35 and 4-16 in conference play but have picked up series splits against top-4 GLVC teams McKendree and Maryville.
