Illinois Springfield softball earned three All-GLVC selections for the 2026 season, led by senior Rosie Bartletti, who received First Team honors as a pitcher/utility player and Second Team recognition as a pitcher. Sophomore Bailey Masching was also named Second Team All-GLVC as a utility non-pitcher.

Bartletti collected all-conference honors for the second consecutive season as one of the league's top two-way players. The Springfield native led UIS both in the circle and at the plate, helping guide the Prairie Stars to a postseason appearance.

In the circle, Bartletti posted a 1.85 ERA across 102.1 innings with a 12-8 record and 117 strikeouts. She recorded seven complete games and four shutouts while limiting opponents to a .195 batting average.

Offensively, Bartletti led UIS with a .340 batting average and .966 OPS. She totaled 53 hits, 50 runs scored, 12 doubles, four triples, three home runs, and 29 RBIs while going 47-for-50 on stolen base attempts.

Masching earned the first all-conference honor of her career after emerging as one of the Prairie Stars' most versatile infielders. The sophomore from Pontiac primarily played shortstop while also seeing time at first base, third base, and designated player.

Masching is hitting.308 with an .855 OPS in 51 starts. She recorded 45 hits, including 11 doubles and four triples, while driving in 40 runs and posting a .500 slugging percentage. Defensively, she finished with a .979 fielding percentage.

Senior Jaden Watts was named UIS softball's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award nominee. Each GLVC institution selects one male and one female student-athlete as its sportsmanship honorees, with the UIS winners announced later this month.

UIS remains alive in the GLVC Tournament after dropping its opening game to McKendree in the conference's double-elimination format. The Prairie Stars will face Maryville at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in an elimination game.
