UIS softball is set for a midweek series versus the Quincy Hawks. The doubleheader, originally set for Sunday afternoon, was postponed due to weather and will now start at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the UIS Softball Complex.
UIS is 27-16 overall and sixth in the current GLVC standings with an 8-6 conference record.
The Quincy Hawks (15-19, 6-8 GLVC) split with Lincoln (Mo.) on Wednesday with a 11-2 loss and a 3-2 win. The all-time series between the Prairie Stars and the Hawks is a close one, with UIS leading 11-10.
The Prairie Stars are batting .306 and lead the GLVC with 362 runs and 125 stolen bases.

Rosie Bartletti and
Ashley Klinzing hold the top-2 sports in the GLVC individual standings with 34 and 25 stolen bases, respectively.
The pitching staff combines for 311 strikeouts, the most in the GLVC by far.
Rosie Bartletti's 0.95 ERA is the best in the GLVC.
