Prairie Stars softball posted a 3-1 record at their Springfield Invitational tournament last weekend. After dropping the first game to Purdue Northwest, UIS picked up a win over Hillsdale and a doubleheader sweep against Davenport. The team is 12-5 overall and will start conference play in St. Louis, Mo. after returning from The Spring Games.
