The University of Illinois Springfield softball team is set to play two conference doubleheaders this weekend. UIS will start at 12 p.m. each day, facing Indianapolis on Saturday and McKendree on Sunday. 

UIS softball is 19-10 after winning 6-of-10 at The Spring Games in Florida over spring break. The Prairie Stars opened their conference schedule with a split against Maryville on Monday. 

The No. 9 Indianapolis Greyhounds are 23-3 and have yet to face another GLVC team. Indianapolis is on a seven-win streak after competing at The Spring Games. 

McKendree is 16-5 overall and 2-0 in the GLVC. The Bearcats defeated the Lewis Flyers on Monday by scores of 13-1 and 5-0. 

Saturday's doubleheader against Indianapolis has been moved to Spartan Sports Park in Chatham, Ill. Sunday's location is TBD.
