The University of Illinois Springfield women's track and field team ended its 2022 outdoor season on Friday in Joliet, Ill., with four athletes competing in the St. Francis Last Chance Meet.
 
All four ran in the open 5,000m race. Alexa Thomsen led the team with a time of 19:51.15, which was good for seventh place. Breanna Chandler was the next finisher in the race with a mark just over 20 minutes. Emma West finished 11th with a time of 20:22, and Libby Price was 12th after completing the race in 20:58.20.
