The University of Illinois Springfield softball team has a pair of GLVC doubleheaders at home this week. On Friday, the Prairie Stars will take on Lewis at 1 p.m. in a doubleheader at Spartan Park. Sunday, UIS will host nationally-ranked Indianapolis in a 12 p.m. twinbill at LOLJOS.

The duo of Reagan Miles and Payton Long have been leading UIS on the mound. The pair has combined for 13 of the team's 18 victories, and they also have three saves.

Offensively, Danielle Dennis is the team leader with a .410 batting average, .731 slugging percentage, 32 hits, four home runs, 11 doubles, and 30 RBI. She has scored 24 times, four fewer than team leader Carly Chovanec.
