The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team goes for another season sweep on Saturday afternoon when it travels to Quincy for a 3:15 p.m. game.
UIS earned a sweep over Lewis last Saturday after defeating the Flyers for the second time this year. The Prairie Stars held on for a 78-75 overtime victory. That win moved the team to 7-7 on the year.
Quincy is currently 4-11 on the season. On Thursday night, the Hawks lost to Lewis by a 94-75 margin. Quincy has won once in the last six contests.
UIS and Quincy met in the season opener, and the Prairie Stars won by an 89-82 score. UIS shot 51.7 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from three-point range in the game.
Chase Robinson led the Prairie Stars with 30 points, and Tanner Stuckman had 35 points for the Hawks.
