Box Score The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team fell to rival McKendree on Tuesday night in Lebanon, Ill. The Prairie Stars lost by a 66-42 margin.

Turnovers and three-point shooting were the difference in the game. McKendree had just 10 turnovers, compared to 17 for UIS, and that led to the Bearcats having a 19-1 edge in points off turnovers. McKendree also made 14 three-pointers and shot 45.2 percent from behind the arc. UIS connected on five three-pointers, and shot just 20.8 percent from long distance.

Jack Weber continued his impressive freshmen campaign, leading the team with 14 points and also having four blocks. He was six-of-eight from the field in the game.
Trey Marble made three three-pointers and finished with 11 points. He also led the team with three assists.
Keymonta Johnson had double-figure rebounds with 10, and missed another double-double by just two points.

UIS is now 7-11 on the season. The Prairie Stars have their final road game of the year on Saturday at Southwest Baptist.
