Box Score The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team got one of the top shooting performances in program history on Wednesday night in St. Charles, Mo., but it couldn't pull out a victory. The Prairie Stars fell to Lindenwood by an 85-75 margin.

Jack Weber made his first nine field-goal attempts in the game, and finished nine-of-ten from the field. He also made both of his free-throw attempts, and recorded three rebounds, four assists, and four steals during his top collegiate game.

Weber had 12 points in the first half, but the Prairie Stars trailed 38-30 at halftime. In the second half, Lindenwood shot over 60 percent from the field which prevented the Prairie Stars from coming back despite UIS scoring 45 points for the final 20 minutes.

Both teams shot over 50 percent from the field for the game, but UIS had 19 turnovers, compared to just 11 for Lindenwood. The Lions had an 18-10 advantage in points off turnovers.

Besides Weber,
Chase Robinson also had a big offensive game. He finished with a team-high 22 points. He made seven-of-13 from the field, including four-of-nine from three-point range.
Keymonta Johnson and
Yamani Shareef each scored eight points. Johnson had a team-high seven rebounds, and
Trey Marble finished with a team-best five assists.

UIS falls to 2-3 on the season. The Prairie Stars will be in action again on Saturday at Maryville.
