The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team welcomes one of its biggest rivals to TRAC on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. game. The Prairie Stars will have their 32nd meeting all-time against the McKendree Bearcats.

UIS is looking to bounce back from two straight losses. The last setback came on Tuesday when a last-second shot wouldn't fall in a 75-74 loss against Indianapolis. That loss dropped the Prairie Stars to 5-5 on the season.

McKendree has been off since Jan. 6. On that day, the Bearcats lost to Drury by a 92-88 margin. The Bearcats are currently 4-3 on the year.

McKendree is the top three-point shooting team in the GLVC, averaging over 12 makes a game. UIS is 4-0 on the year when making nine or more in a game.
