The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team faces a crucial road test on Saturday at Drury. The two teams are currently ranked ninth and tenth in the GLVC Point Rating System, just outside the line to make the conference tournament.
UIS's offense remained hot last Thursday at Southwest Baptist, but it wasn't enough to get the win in an 88-82 loss.
Drury has won three straight games, including an 84-82 win against Lewis on Thursday night.
The contest between UIS and Drury will feature two of the top three-point shooting teams in the GLVC. The Prairie Stars are making over 12 three-pointers a game, and shooting 39.5 percent from behind the arc. Drury is making over 10 three-pointers, and shooting 40.3 percent.
