The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team will host Maryville this Saturday in a 3 p.m. game at TRAC. The Prairie Stars will celebrate Senior Day following the women's portion of the doubleheader.

UIS continued its hot shooting last Thursday night against Missouri S&T, which led to an 87-74 victory. The win was the fourth in a row for the Prairie Stars at TRAC.

Maryville lost its Thursday's night GLVC matchup at Lewis by a 74-57 margin.

Saturday's contest will match up the top two freshmen scorers in the GLVC. UIS's Chase Robinson comes into the game averaging 14.4 points a game, the 20th-best mark in the league. Maryville's Parker Long is 24th with a 13.7 scoring average.
