The University of Illinois Springfield athletics department announced today that it recently reached an agreement with Neuhoff Media to have all Prairie Stars conference basketball games be called on the radio this season. The majority of games will be on Sports Radio 1450, while a few will be on a sister station due to conflicts with other events. "I would like to thank Neufhoff Media and General Manager Kevin O'Dea for partnering with UIS Athletics," said Director of Athletics Jim Sarra. "The UIS Basketball brands continue to grow in the area, and this deal with Springfield's top sports radio station will only help their successes reach a larger audience."
 
Jon Fisher will be calling the action for all of the men's games, and Shawn Balint will bring you the play-by-play for the women's action. All broadcasts for the doubleheaders will begin 15 minutes before the women's game. This year will mark the second straight season that all UIS conference games will be broadcasted over the radio.
