The University of Illinois Springfield women's golf team ended its fall season at the UIS Island Getaway in Puerto Rico on Monday and Tuesday.

Ocean Pangan earned medalist honors at the event. She took a one-shot lead on Monday after carding a 75, and then shot a 76 in round two which was good enough for a one-shot victory. Pangan tied for the tournament-high by shooting three-under on the par-five holes, and was second with a four-over mark on par-fours. She also had a tournament high six birdies, had the only eagle during the two-day event, and was fourth with 19 pars.
 
Maria Espinosa was second on the team with a 166, and Paula Valdivia and Sasha Glickfield both tied with two-round marks of 177.
 
As a team, UIS placed fourth at the event with a score of 664. The Prairie Stars improved their score by 12 shots on day two with a 326.
