The Illinois Springfield women's golf team returns to action Sunday and Monday at the Findlay Spring Invite at Boone's Trace National Golf Club in Richmond, Ky. The tournament features 14 teams, including several GLVC programs and top-ranked opponents, and will be contested over three rounds across the two days.

The Prairie Stars will meet conference rivals Maryville, Lewis, and No. 32 UMSL, while host Findlay enters the event ranked No. 4 nationally. Grand Valley State is also in the field, ranked No. 10.

Leading the Illinois Springfield lineup is Elaine Grant, the reigning GLVC Player of the Week. She will be joined by Ira Joshi, Lia Rody, Valentina Torrealba, Yi-Ting Hsieh, and Erin Ahmadfadzir competing as an individual.

Last time out, the Prairie Stars finished 17th at the Las Vegas Warrior Invitational with a three-round total of 986. UIS opened with a 328, improved to a 323 in the second round, and closed with a 335 on the final day. Grant led the team with a tie for ninth place, finishing with a three-round total of 216 (+3).
