The University of Illinois Springfield women's golf program finished sixth out of 20 teams this week at the Music City Invitational in Old Hickory, Tenn.

The Prairie Stars were consistent throughout its two rounds and received contributions from all five golfers. UIS shot rounds of 318 and 314, and its 632 score was just one shot off a top-five showing.

Jennifer Queller and
Paula Valdivia each finished tied for 20th with two-round scores of 156. Queller led the team in the first round with a 76, which was the lowest round for the Prairie Stars at the event. Valdivia was one of the team's leaders in round two with a 77.

Maria Espinosa finished with a score of 159,
Ocean Pangan shot a 163, and Sasha Glockfield rounded out the team with a 167.

The Prairie Stars will end their fall seasons next week at the UIS Island Getaway in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
