SPRINGFIELD, IL --- UIS will turn its focus to Lewis University as they look to collect back-to-back wins for the first time since the beginning of the month. Coming off a dominating 106-92 victory over Saint Joseph's, the Prairie Stars will look to gain momentum heading into the final stretch of the season as they host two GLVC West opponents who are both in the top-four of the conference.

Coming off a two-game road series against UIndy and Saint Joseph's, the Prairie Stars had no lack of offense in the two games. A tough loss at the hands of UIndy, who sits atop the GLVC east, was followed by an impressive victory at Saint Joseph's where the Prairie Stars laid 106 points on the Pumas for the 16-point victory. With nine GLVC games remaining, the Prairie Stars have six at home as they look to make a push at a fifth straight conference tournament appearance.

Lewis has won the last seven meetings between the two schools including three of them in Springfield. UIS last won in 2011 with a 78-70 win at home. UIS is 3-8 against Wisconsin – Parkside and 2-2 at home. The Prairie Stars have lost the last four games in the series, with two being at home. In the last two match-ups, Wisconsin – Parkside was ranked 22

th, the Rangers won by just one point in Springfield, 83-82 in overtime. Millison had a team high 19 points but a 40 point performance from the Rangers shut down the upset.
