SAVOY, IL - Junior Jocelyn Matsen (Springfield, Ill.) and freshman Maria Espinosa (Ibague, Tolima, Colombia) led all players after carding a 76 on Saturday in the University of Illinois Springfield women's golf team's head-to-head matchup with Saint Joseph's at the University of Illinois Champaign Orange Course.

Three Prairie Stars fired sub-80 rounds on the day including sophomore Taryn Pittman (Aledo, Texas), who shot a 79.

The team finished with a score of 314 while Saint Joseph's finished the day with a team score of 384. Four Prairie Stars made their UIS debut in Espinosa, Kayla Yn (Arcadia, Calif.), Charlotte Ng (Hong Kong) and Sasha Glickfield (Marion, Ind.).

UIS travels to the UIndy Fall Invitational on September 14 in Carmel, Ind.
