SPRINGFIELD, IL - The University of Illinois Springfield women's soccer team travels to Missouri S&T and Drury this weekend to continue Great Lakes Valley Conference play. Game times are scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 12 p.m., respectively.

Missouri S&T (1-5, 0-4 GLVC)
  • The Miners are on a four-game skid and have been outscored 9-1 over that stretch.
  • Julie Bride and Mikaela Mockenhaupt lead the team in scoring with one goal each.
  • Last season, the Prairie Stars fell to S&T, 2-0, in Rolla.
  • Since 2010, UIS is 2-3 against the Miners with its most recent win coming in 2012.

Drury (3-1-1, 2-1-1 GLVC)
  • The Panthers are currently tied for 5th in the GLVC with wins against Rockhurst (2-1) and Southern Indiana (2-1). Drury tied William Jewell, 0-0.
  • Emily Cline leads the team in scoring with three goals and one assist (seven points)
  • Drury has outscored its opponent 10-5 on the season, including 6-0 in the first half of games. In the second half however, the Panther have been outscored 5-4 by opponents.
  • Since 2010, the Prairie Stars are 0-4-1 against Drury. Last season the Panthers defeated the Prairie Stars 4-1 in Springfield, Mo.
