CARMEL, IN - The University of Illinois Springfield women's golf team is in 14th place at the UIndy Fall Invitational after shooting a 343 on Monday.
Florida Tech leads the field with a score of 303 after one round of play.

Becca Ramirez (Springfield, Ill.) shot an 81 to lead the Prairie Stars. She is tied for 35th place. Freshman
Maria Espinosa (Ibague, Tolima, Colombia) sits two strokes back of Ramirez after carding an 83, good for a tie for 51st place.

Jocelyn Matsen (Springfield, Ill.) and sophomore
Taryn Pittman (Aledo, Texas) fired rounds of 89, 90 and 98, respectively.
