SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Due to a poor weather forecast for Saturday, the University of Illinois Springfield softball team has moved its games against William Jewell to Friday, April 24. The start times are now 2 and 4 p.m. for the GLVC twinbill.

Games against Rockhurst remian on Sunday beginning at 12 p.m. UIS will hold senior day and recognize the program's four seniors after the doubleheader.

The Prairie Stars are currently tied for sixth place in the GLVC with a 14-12 mark in league action. UIS needs to pick up wins this weekend to secure a spot in the GLVC Tournament taking place on May 1 in Peoria.
