Brooke Hill (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) carded a team-best 82 on Monday to help the Prairie Stars finish tenth at the UMSL Desert Classic at the Pauite Golf Course.
UIS finished with a score of 693 (350-343) after improving on their day one score by seven strokes.
Oklahoma Christian took home the tournament title by carding a team score of 623. Oklahoma Christian's Anna Arrese Cortadellas earned medalist honors for her score of 148.Hill's two-day score of 167 (85-82) was good for a 27th place in a field of 68. Junior
Becca Ramirez (Springfield, Ill.) finished just three strokes back of Hill with a final score of 170. Springfield native
Jocelyn Matsen improved on her Sunday score by two strokes, finishing with a 172 (87-85).

Liz Kesinger (Carrollton, Ill.) and freshman
Jordan Neyens (Pleasant Hill, Iowa) posted tournament scores of 184 (95-89) and 189 (95-94), respectively.
Freshman
Taryn Pittman (Aledo, Texas) also improved on her round one score by shooting a 92 on Monday, giving her a two-day score of 188.
The Prairie Stars are back in action on the 19th when the team travels to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the UIS Beach Bash.
