  • Wes Koral had a season-best 15 points, while Mark Weems added 14.
  • UIS finished the game shooting 40 percent, going 20-for-49 from the floor. The Prairie Stars hit a season-low from the charity stripe, hitting just 9-for-21 from the line.
  • Bellarmine dished out 18 assists on its 23 baskets and shot 42 percent from the floor, while hitting 10 triples. The Knights forced 14 Prairie Star turnovers, capitalizing on the miscues with 20 points.

SCOUT OF SOUTHERN INDIANA
The Screaming Eagles are 12-5 on the season and 5-4 in conference play. USI snapped a four-game slide last Saturday with a win against Lewis, 64-60. Southern Indiana outscored the Flyers 38-25 in the second half. Sophomore BOBO DRUMMOND scored 15 points in the second period. Gavin Schumann leads the team in scoring at 18.8 points per game, good for fourth in the conference. Off the glass, George Edwards leads the team with 8.1 per game. Coach Rodney Watson is in his sixth season at USI. USI leads the all-time series with Illinois Springfield, 6-2, and is 1-1 when visiting the Prairie Stars since 2000. The Eagles won last year's meeting, 90-72, at the PAC.
