2011-12: Named to the Great Lakes Valley Conference’s All-Defensive Team…  saw action in all 28 games with 24 starts…was second on the team and 11^th in the GLVC with 111 defensive rebounds… scored in double figures 10 times and netted a career-high 20 points at Lewis (Jan. 14)… grabbed 13 rebounds at Lake Superior State (Nov. 12) and had 11 against Maryville (Jan. 26)… finished with the second highest field goal percentage on the team at 47%... recorded 34 steals and eight blocked shots.

Before UIS: Attended Lincoln College… helped team to the 2011 NJCAA National Championship… scored a game-high 20 points in the national title game…named all-conference, all-tournament and Mr. Hustle… averaged 12.3 points, nearly 10 rebounds, three assists and picked up 2.5 steal per game as a sophomore… led the team in steals and rebounds.

High School: Graduated from Eisenhower… won two letters in basketball… named first team all-league and earned second team all-county… won the team’s Most Improved Award.

Personal: Son of Willie and Stephiae Dawson… majoring in Liberal Studies with a minor in Secondary Education.
