UIS:
2026 – Served as UIS’s leadoff hitter and one of the most productive table-setters in program history, delivering a record-level offensive season at the top of the lineup. He started all 56 games and led the Prairie Stars with 86 hits and 74 runs scored, both ranking among the top-10 single-season marks in program history. Atkinson hit .384 with a .481 on-base percentage while producing 35 extra-base hits, including 19 doubles, 3 triples, and 12 home runs. He also drove in 65 runs and added 10 stolen bases in 14 attempts.

Prior to UIS:
Played two seasons at Heartland Community College, appearing in 69 games with 55 starts. He hit .311 across his junior college career with 61 hits, 41 RBIs, and 53 runs scored while adding 16 stolen bases. In 2025, he batted .361 with 53 hits, 10 doubles, and 36 RBIs over 50 games. Defensively, he posted a .988 fielding percentage during his time at Heartland.

High School:
Attended St. Rita of Cascia High School, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors as a freshman, sophomore, and senior.
