The Illinois Springfield Women's Golf program will host a Women's Golf Social on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the UIS Golf Simulator inside TRAC. Women of all ages and skill levels are invited to attend.

Held in celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, the event is designed to bring together women who love the game of golf — along with those interested in trying it for the first time. Whether you're an experienced golfer or just getting started, the afternoon promises a welcoming, supportive, and fun environment to learn, compete, and connect.

- Long Drive Contest ($20 entry) – winner receives a prize
- Closest to the Pin Contest ($20 entry) – winner receives a prize
- Putting Contest ($10 entry) – make a putt to be entered into a drawing for a prize
