The Prairie Stars are set for five competitions this spring, highlighted by four regular-season tournaments and the postseason championship.

Illinois Springfield women's golf will compete in five events during spring 2026 as the program continues its first season under head coach Josh Edison.

UIS opens at the Emerald Coast Classic (March 16-17) at Baytowne Golf Club in Destin, Fla., before heading to Richmond, Ky., for the Findlay Spring Invite (March 16-17) at Boone Trace National Golf Club.

The schedule continues a bit closer to home on March 30-31 at the Flyers Spring Invitational in Bolingbrook, Ill., followed by the UMSL Spring Invitational (April 12-13) at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.

The postseason begins April 17-19 at the GLVC Championship at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind.

UIS enters the spring after a strong fall campaign that saw the Prairie Stars finish third or better in four of five events. A major highlight came at home, where Elaine Grant captured medalist honors in a dramatic two-hole playoff victory at Piper Glen.

This marks the first spring season under head coach Josh Edison, who guided the Prairie Stars through a successful fall.

"The women had a great fall and have backed it up with a committed offseason," Edison said. "We've built a challenging spring schedule and we're excited for the opportunity to compete with some of the best programs in the country. This group continues to grow every week and I'm looking forward to seeing that momentum carry into the spring."

Live scoring links will be added to the women's golf schedule as they become available, giving Prairie Stars fans the opportunity to follow along from anywhere.
