The Illinois Springfield women's golf team closes out its fall schedule at McKendree's annual Bearcat Dual Gender, held Monday and Tuesday in Caseyville, Illinois.

The event features a competitive field of nine GLVC programs, including Quincy, Maryville, McKendree, Lewis, Rockhurst, Upper Iowa, Missouri-St. Louis and William Jewell, along with regional opponents Wisconsin-Parkside and Kentucky Wesleyan.

UIS will be represented by six players as the Prairie Stars look to carry their recent momentum into the season finale.

Last Time Out
Earlier this month, UIS earned a third-place team finish at the Bill Crabtree Invitational, hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Prairie Stars finished at +42 after rounds of 304 and 314, trailing only Maryville (+35) and McKendree (+38) in the seven-team field.

Senior Elaine Grant paced UIS with a strong third-place individual finish at +5 (73–76). Valentina Torrealba placed 10th at +10 (75–79), and Yi-Ting Hsieh tied for 11th at +11 (74–81). Lia Rody (82–78, +16) and Fizreen Ahmadfadzir (82–83, +21) rounded out the lineup.
