UIS men's basketball fell in an away game versus the No. 16 Missouri-St. Louis Tritons on Saturday. The Prairie Stars remain undefeated at home, but have fallen to 1-6 on the road.
The Tritons held UIS to 25 points and a 37.9% field goal percentage in the first half. UIS improved it's scoring in the second half, but did not get within 18 points of UMSL for the remainder of the game.
Max Kunnert led UIS in scoring with 13 points.
Jack Weber and
Jacob Hanna had 10 apiece. Weber collected four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block, while Hanna had one steal, three rebounds, and three assists of his own.
UIS is now 12-7 overall and 6-5 in the GLVC, landing them seventh in the conference standings. The Prairie Stars will host No. 18 Indianapolis and McKendree at TRAC next week.
