UIS Women's Basketball could not hold off the No. 2 team in NCAA DII women's basketball at TRAC on Saturday. The matchup ended in a score of 82-63.
The Prairie Stars held the Panthers to a shooting percentage of 47.1% and 82 points, just below their average points per game this season.
Liz Uhl was 8-14 from the field, leading UIS to a field goal percentage of 40.7%.
UIS was down ten at the half before Drury dropped a 30-point third quarter. The Panthers are undefeated in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
Brianna Zajicek and
Liz Uhl were the leading scorers with 22 and 21 points respectively. The pair also had six rebounds apiece, and Zajicek collected three assists, a block, and a steal.
UIS women's basketball is now 1-7 in the GLVC. The Prairie Stars will face Missouri S&T at TRAC on Monday at noon.
