Mathieu earned a second-team nod at the outfield position. This past season, he ended his UIS career by batting .370 with a .617 slugging percentage and .440 on-base percentage. In 44 contests, he collected 50 runs, 60 hits, 13 doubles, three triples, seven home runs, and 43 RBI. Mathieu was second in the GLVC in runs, and in the top-10 in hits, RBI, total bases, and triples.

Mathieu ended his career as the school's all-time leader in games play with 180. He is third in program history with 136 runs and 172 hits, and fifth with 106 RBI. He had a .330 lifetime batting average, a .508 slugging percentage, and a .412 on-base percentage.

Youngquist was second-team at the designated hitter spot. This past season, he hit .420 with a .757 slugging percentage and .503 on-base percentage. He had 50 runs, 71 hits, 22 doubles, 11 home runs, and 58 RBI. Youngquist led the GLVC in doubles and RBI, and ranked in the top-50 in the nation in batting average, doubles, hits, on-base percentage, RBI, slugging percentage, and total bases.

Youngquist, who still has one year of eligibility, is currently second in the UIS career record books with a .406 batting average, .736 slugging percentage, and a .486 on-base percentage. In 56 games at UIS, he has 62 runs, 86 hits, 26 doubles, 14 home runs, and 70 RBI.

The Academic All-American program recognizes the top student-athletes in the nation who excel on the playing field and in the classrooms. UIS has now had eight athletes earn NCAA Division II Academic All-American accolades over the last three school years.
