The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team dropped its final road game of the 2021 season on Saturday in Bolivar, Mo. The Prairie Stars fell to Southwest Baptist by a 73-60 margin.

UIS outscored the Bearcats in the second half, but couldn't overcome a 39-25 halftime deficit. Southwest Baptist shot 46.4 percent from the field and held UIS to under 40 percent. Southwest Baptist had a 41-23 rebounding edge, and outscored UIS in points off turnovers by an 18-5 margin.

Will Rucker had his best game as a Prairie Star, scoring 12 points in 15 minutes. He was six-of-seven from the field and had three rebounds.​
Chase Robinson led the team in scoring with 17 points, and he also had a team-high three assists.
Jack Weber and
Keymonta Johnson each had eight points. Johnson continued his double-figure rebound tear with 11 boards.
