The University of Illinois Springfield men's basketball team fell to Southern Indiana on Thursday night at TRAC. The Screaming Eagles won by a 64-52 margin.

UIS held Southern Indiana to just 16.7 percent shooting from three-point range, but the Screaming Eagles shot 54.1 percent from inside the arc. Southern Indiana had 34 points in the paint and 11 second-chance points.

Jack Weber made seven-of-nine from the field and had a team-high 15 points.
Chase Robinson added 11 points, and
James Kelley was one away from double-digits. Other team leaders were Kelley and Weber with five rebounds,
Chris Hamil with two assists, Weber with one block, and Robinson with three steals.

UIS falls to 2-5 on the season and 0-2 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will look for their first conference win on Saturday at Indianapolis.
