Brianna Bush Named All-Conference For Third Time In Her Career

The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its all-conference teams for volleyball on Thursday. University of Illinois Springfield hitter Brianna Bush was named all-GLVC for the third time in her career.
 
Bush was a second-team selection this year. She also earned second-team honors in 2019, and was a first-team pick in 2018. Bush currently ranks 11th in the GLVC in both hitting percentage and blocks.
 
In the fall 2021 season, Bush is first on the team in blocks and hitting percentage, second in kills, and third in points. She has 226 kills, 96 blocks, and 287 points on the year, and is hitting .301. She averages 2.09 kills per set, 0.89 blocks per set, and 2.66 points per set.
 
Bush is concluding her career as one of the top players in the program's history. She is third at UIS all-time with 1399.5 career points, and is fourth with 1,099 kills and 403 blocks. Her .250 career hitting percentage is tenth in the school's record book.
 
The UIS volleyball team will be in action in the first round of the GLVC Tournament on Friday at 5:30 p.m. against Missouri-St. Louis.
