The University of Illinois Springfield women's basketball player
Tehya Fortune hit a major milestone on Saturday in Springfield, Mo. when she appeared in her 100th career game. The milestone came in a 114-54 loss at No. 1 Drury.

Fortune is the sixth player in Prairie Stars history to make a showing in 100 career games. She has started 98 of those contests, which is second in program history. Against Drury on Saturday, Fortune led the team with five rebounds, including four on the offensive side of the ball. She also had three points, one assist, and one steal.

Drury shot 52.7 percent from the field in the game, including 11-of-20 from three-point range. UIS shot 36.5 percent from the field, and made just four three-pointers. UIS won the rebounding battle, but Drury had a large advantage in turnover margin and points off turnovers.

Lauren Ladowski and
Jasmine Sangster led the team in scoring with nine points. A total of 11 players got at least one field goal in the game for the Prairie Stars.
NaKaya Hughes had a team-high two blocks, and
Katelyn Rosner and
Carson Vance had team-bests with two steals each.

UIS moves to 7-15 overall on the season and 2-12 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars return home on Thursday evening for a contest against Missouri S&T.
