Jasmine Sangster hit two major milestones, and
Katelyn Rosner set a UIS career record on Saturday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill. They accomplished those marks during an 83-76 loss to McKendree.

Sangster appeared in her 100th career game on Saturday, the seventh player in program history with that many showings in a UIS uniform. She also recorded her 900th career point in the contest, the sixth player with that many points.

Rosner recorded three blocks in the contest. The first, early in the second quarter gave her 100 for her career. Her third block came at the 8:05 mark of the fourth quarter, and made her the program's all-time blocking leader with 102.

Sangster, Rosner, and UIS started strong, as the team made 66.7 percent of its shots in the first quarter and the Prairie Stars led 22-10 after 10 minutes. UIS extended its lead to 17 in the first minute of the second quarter, but that would be the high mark for the Prairie Stars on the day.

McKendree got the lead down to seven by halftime, and took its first lead late in the third quarter. In the fourth, the two teams were tied at 71 with 3:07 left, but McKendree went on a 10-0 run which proved to be the difference in the game.

Both teams made 50 percent of its shots in the game, but McKendree had 10 more free-throw attempts and 10 more made free throws. The Bearcats had a +12 rebounding margin in the game.

Sangster finished with a team-high 19 points, and had a career-high seven assists. She also had team-highs with four rebounds and three steals.
Malea Jackson had 14 points,
Makenna Fee collected 12, and Rosner had 10. Rosner also had four rebounds, and Jackson had three steals.
Lauren Ladowski saw just six minutes of action, but had a +8 plus/minus, and
Myka Roth also had a positive plus/minus with a +5.

UIS falls to 9-17 overall and 4-14 in GLVC play. The Prairie Stars will start their final week of the season next Thursday at Lindenwood.
